The project involves upgrading the 46.9 km Van-Muradiye State Road to a 2x2 lane configuration, enhancing the physical standards of the existing road, and replacing the surface with Bituminous Hot Mix.

Key components of the construction work include:

• 3,350,000 m³ of excavation
• 1,315,000 tons of plant-mixed base and sub-base
• 1,370,000 m² of 21 cm Hot Mix Asphalt (HMA)
• 55,000 m³ of concrete
• 2,500 tons of steel reinforcement
• 120,000 m³ of stone fill
• 35,600 m² of prefabricated concrete paving
• 65,800 m of prefabricated concrete curbing

This project will result in a 47 km state road with a 2x2 lane Bituminous Hot Mix surface.
